Allanhead, Borness, Kirkcudbright, Dumfries & Galloway

One of the most beautifully situated country cottages with views of un-spoilt farmland (with livestock) in the foreground, of the Solway Firth and Wigtown Bay to the south and west and the Galloway Hills to the west and north.     Thanks for sharing such a nice article on holiday cottages. The term "cottage holiday" is used somewhat freely, but in essence it means a holiday taken in a self catering accommodation where you have the sole use of the accommodation.
